"GTXXX" Team Losi GTX Team Kit

        This car took a while to get all the bugs worked out, but once finished it runs like a charm, it never has a loss of power, and when going around corners always has the extra umph to pull out of it. The hardest part of getting it right was working out the drivetrain... Now when I say that I have built a pretty much bullet proof drivetrain, and that the engine is the weakest link I dont mean you can put a gun up to the car and shoot it.... No I mean you can put some paddle tires on the car and lift up the chassis the whole way up, and tearing off through gravel and rock terrain... This is not usually done to most cars (that are raced competitively, but I figure if I cant get something to break in the more extreme of the condition table, it definitely wont break on the track when it counts. To tell you the truth the car comes from the factory with a pretty weak drivetrain: The stock diff melted into two pieces first couple test runs, the stock clutch's springs kept breaking inside which rendered idling and stopping impossible. Once replaced w/ the listed parts it made the tranny pretty rock solid or (bullet proof). The only other problem I encountered was the top gear in the tranny the c-clip spacer that keeps the alignment straight inside the tranny kept breaking off and wreaking havoc on the idle gear. So I placed a custom aluminum spacer inside between the gear and the c-clip making the whole assembly much stiffer. With all the changes and adjustments that I have made to this car, it is definitely a challenging competitor to reckon with on the track.
